Welcome to Instead Ministries Exposed. We’re a group of concerned Christians dedicated to exposing fake and misleading nonprofit organizations masquerading as “faith-based” when in truth they are based on anti-Biblical practices, false accusations, character assassination, and bearing false witness. Something God hates.
The bearing of false testimony is strictly prohibited by God, no matter how innovative a woman or man becomes! Any understanding of what God was saying to His children is greatly enhanced by a clear understanding of what it means to tell a lie. Bearing false testimony also carries with it the basic idea of fabrication, which, simply put, means to make something up. Exaggeration fits right in with God’s prohibition because any effort to stretch the truth is, in and of itself, a fabrication. When God said, “You shall not bear false witness” (Exodus 20:16), He was definitively pointing to the heart of man. Not even a person’s creativity with the truth is acceptable to God.
The verb to bear implies the act of carrying or transmitting something, while the adjective false describes content that is untrue. The speaking of an untruth renders what is said as unreal, thereby rendering it artificial and invalid.
“Murder, adultery, and stealing, dealing respectively with life, virtue, and property, are generally considered more serious offenses before the law than the bearing of false witness. And yet, what the latter may lack in severity, it more than makes up for in prevalence”
People are seriously hurt by this malicious form of robbery. Bearing false witness robs the victim of the cloak of truth and is closely allied with God’s command not to steal.
Jesus made it clear to His disciples that false testimony was a key indicator of an unclean heart (Matthew 15:16-20). He pointed out that those things that come out of the mouth are a direct result of a disconnect between man and God. Jesus Himself became the victim of false testimony when He was brought before the Sanhedrin. The Pharisees lied to Caiaphas the high priest, resulting in the call for our Savior’s indictment on charges of blasphemy (Matthew 26:57-68).
Lying and misrepresentation in all of their forms are wrong, no matter how they may be rationalized, and those who silently let these evils pass unchallenged are also doing wrong. James explained: “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” James 4:17
You might wonder, Oh, but isn’t ‘Instead Ministries’ a ‘FAITH-based’ nonprofit?
We do not believe so.
We don’t see anything ‘faith-based’ about a nonprofit that using smear campaigns, cyber bullying and false accusations as their premise.
God places false witness in the top six things He hates.
It is the mission of this website to expose organizations and nonprofits that mascaraed as faith-based under the guise of worthwhile and/or emotionally charged causes for what we believe is personal gain.
We hope you will read this entire site and test, examine, and discern in the light of Scripture, and then make an informed decision for yourself.
ThoughtCatalog.com had some interesting insight into the reasons why some people choose to hurt others with a plethora of diversionary tactics that distort the truth. It is linked below.
Toxic people such as malignant narcissists, psychopaths and those with antisocial traits engage in maladaptive behaviors in relationships that ultimately exploit, demean and hurt their intimate partners, family members and friends. They use a plethora of diversionary tactics that distort the reality of their victims and deflect responsibility. Although those who are not narcissistic can employ these tactics as well, abusive narcissists use these to an excessive extent in an effort to escape accountability for their actions.
Thinking the best of people is a good trait to have, admirable even, however, there is a balance between giving people the benefit of the doubt and important behaviors and traits that provide a forewarning of people we should avoid at all costs – as friends, girlfriends/boyfriends, and employees. In this article, we’ll address five …
